Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are valid for the goods specified in them and the print that has been described in the quote, for 28 days from the date of the quote. Alterations to any part of the order may incur a cost rise or reduction which will be reflected in a new quote. Please bear in mind that all quotes made are based on the information that you have provided to our staff and failure to disclose information needed to create an accurate quote will result in in your quote being void. We will then provide you with a new altered quote specific to your requirements.
Prices stated on our website or in any brochures and catalogues are approximate. A full quote will be made for any enquiry. We reserve the right to change the prices shown at any time and we will contact you before the order is confirmed in the event of an alteration being made.
If, by genuine mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we process the order. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price.
All payments must be in full and in Great British Pounds Sterling (£GBP) before the production of the goods start. Only in pre approved occasions by management payment maybe aranged on collection of items. 

Visual Layout Approval / Artwork Approval

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through email unless otherwise stated by our staff member on placement of your order. Artwork must be checked for spelling, colour, placement of the artwork and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mock-up, as this is how your garments will print.
Here at Printigo, when we create artwork, you are entitled to 2 revisions/changes Free of Charge with your visual. These can be sent to you via email or you can call into our shop to view the artwork in person. Further changes may be charged up to £10 per revision. If you change the design completely so the designers have to take a new brief and start over then there will be a £60 charge incurred. Once you have approved the visual layout your decision is final. Extra charges may be applied should you wish to make further changes to approved visuals. We will not proceed until you have approved the visual in writing by email or by signing off the sheet in store.
Printigo will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Once approval of the artwork has been signed off by the person that has placed the order, or by someone stated to have the authority at the time of the order being placed, changes cannot be made as the order will have moved into the production process in most circumstances. However we will always endeavour to make these amendments when it is possible to do so. We will not reprint or make any alterations to the garments after they have been printed, providing that we have followed the printing process and placements that have been confirmed within the mock up.

Designs Produced by Printigo

Any designs produced by us for you will remain our intellectual property and may not be used in any other form without our prior written consent. Release of the artwork to you can be discussed with staff and can be done. There will be a charge for this process.

Customer Artwork

Printigo are happy to print your own artwork, however if the artwork files are not print ready and therefore do not match our guidelines we will try to recreate the artworks free of charge, or there may be a small charge dependant on the complexity of the design. Artwork files that are not as per our guidelines may still be printed, but the quality of the print may be lower than we would like. To help you to prevent this we have provided our guidelines which are available upon request and they are also on our website under useful info, artwork guidelines. You also confirm that the artwork is yours to use, and/or free from copyright infringement. You will accept full responsibility in the event of any copyright infringement, and will fully indemnify Printigo. By emailing us or uploading artwork, and upon payment, you accept this artwork disclaimer in full.
We may occasionally use examples of custom printed and embroidered clothing we’ve previously produced in our brochures, websites and exhibitions. If you would prefer to opt-out or keep your relationship with us discreet, please let us know by clearly stating at the time of order or at the artwork approval stage.

Origination Charges

Here at Printigo we charge for screens made when screen printing. Each colour and position needs a screen. For embroidery we do not charge for the majority of the designs but there may be occasions where we reserve the right to charge a setup fee. With vinyl and transfer printing we will not charge a setup fee when creating the garments. Any artwork or files created by Printigo is the property of Printigo and will remain Printigo’s property. Artwork Guidelines

All files must be 300 DPI or vector format. Text must be converted to outlines or curves. Printing can only be as good as the artwork provided. Printigo will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Please view our guidelines for more details. Printigo is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we may not catch them all. If it is in your art file and on your approval, that is how we will print it.

Garments Supplied by Printigo

We here at Printigo supply a wide range of garments that are suitable for printing on. We would recommend that you use our garments for most print work as they are designed with the print application in mind. Printigo is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as colour inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabelled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction.

Garment Sizing

All sizes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Please double check the size chart on our website, Printigo.com, or ask a staff member when you are in the shop. Please bear in mind that whilst sizes on size charts often relate to the body size of the wearer, rather than the garment, some size charts may differ. If you are concerned about sizing, we recommend ordering samples or calling into the shop to try on the garments. Due to the mix of mechanised and human manufacturing, there is some variance in garment sizing between identical products, occasionally up to an inch in each dimension across all manufacturers. Therefore exact sizing cannot be guaranteed, and size charts should be used as a guideline only. We are not responsible for any loss of earnings as a result of miss-ordered sizing or sizing variance.

Customer supplied Garments

When Printigo agrees to print your own garments you accept full responsibility and confirm you have either provided print ready files, discussed this with us prior to payment and also confirm that we will not be held responsible for sub quality print finishes that are caused as a result to sub quality non print ready artwork files. You must state specific print sizes if required. Failure to do so will mean we will use our expertise to size the print, or print according to size limitations.
If when sending us garments they are lost in transit we will not be held responsible. You must track the delivery. In addition, we recommend test prints to ensure your products are suitable for the printing technique that you require. We keep a keen eye on our quality control processes, but, if you are supplying the products and there are problems with the print or damage to the products due to the printing, that are not related to the printing quality, we will not be held responsible for any cost of garments/products.

Garment Availability

At times, stock shortages may occur between the times when availability was last checked and the point where the stock is ordered, particularly if there is a delay in payment. In this instance, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and will look to offer replacements (this may affect the price, which will rise or fall accordingly, and may result in an issue of a further invoice to you or remittance advice from us) or we may offer to send the goods on shortly after. The rest of an order will proceed despite the stock shortages and cannot be cancelled as a result of stock shortages. We will not be liable for any loss of earnings arising from stock shortages or from any delays in the production process.

Quality Assurance

We try to check every garment as it arrives in the shop, gets stacked for the order, before it gets pressed and after it is pressed and goes for folding, but there are times where unfortunately some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as soon as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order.

Direct To Garment printing, (DTG)

DTG printing is a relatively new technology and also it is dependent on ‘computer controlled output’. Artwork files are checked by our print managers for quality purposes, but ultimately a computer machine reads these colours and translates these colours into ink that gets jetted direct into the fabric. (Screen Printing can match exact pantone colours and is controlled by the human eye, as such is ‘human controlled’, not computer controlled). DTG output is therefore subject to variance. This means when printing the same design several times it may not appear as sharp on one garment as another.
Additionally it may appear different on one garment to another garment due to colours and materials reacting differently to the inks. Sometimes small speckles of white underlay ink can be seen on dark garments too, this is most often due to sub quality artwork or to fibres from the garment, which we do our best to avoid. You accept the above information and accept a 10% variance & white underlay condition.
Gapping and Ink Coverage
All prints and embroideries will be applied to the highest quality, but due to the nature of garments there will never be 100% ink or thread coverage. No two garments are the same, and so thread will show through the prints or embroideries on some or all of your products, this could also be in different positions. This is particularly the case when printing light colours on darker garments. We will not be held liable for any loss resulting from this, nor will we accept return of the garments.

Loss of Earnings

We Cannot, and will not, be held responsible for loss of earnings, real or projected, as a result of an order being lost, arriving late, or not being as expected.

Liability

We shall not be liable in any way for any loss of revenue, profit, goodwill or any consequential, indirect, special loss or damage arising out of the purchase of any goods by you from us or late or non-delivery of goods. We do not accept liability for any loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of Goods or Services purchased from us. We shall not be liable for any misrepresentations. We accept zero liability for all losses not specifically mentioned here, as well as any liability for health issues that may occur from the use of products supplied to you by us.

Delays

We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in the delivery of goods ordered, or for damage or defect to goods caused by events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).

Holiday / Working Days

Here at Printigo our staff are always trying their best and striving for perfection. To reward this commitment and effort we like to let our staff have the bank holidays to spend time with their family and over other holiday periods. We apologise if this causes inconvenience to our customers but we like our staff to be well rested so that they can perform to their very best potential.

Returns

Printigo offers a bespoke manufacturing service whereby we manufacture one-of-a-kind goods to your specifications and therefore refunds and returns of goods are not possible once they have been produced. It is your responsibility to check the visual proof thoroughly to ensure you are happy with the design layout and ensure there are no spelling or grammatical errors, and that colours and print sizes are accurate. We will print as close to the visual layout as we can, so please ensure you check it properly. If you do not state specific print sizes or colour references we will use our experience to complete the order and you will accept this in full. Please note that sometimes the visual display on screen of the design or garment colour may differ slightly to the finished colours on the garments due to screen calibration, vinyl colour selection or due to the curing process.
